I have spent more than 20 years in Australian education, in the classroom, school leadership, and supporting leaders directly in system-level roles . That experience shapes everything about how I work.
It means I come to coaching not with a generic framework to apply, but with a genuine understanding of the world you are operating in and a deep respect for the complexity of what you are being asked to do.

What this work actually looks like
One of the most formative experiences of my coaching work was with a leader who was new to their role and had stepped into an established team.
They had real capability. But they were struggling to find their voice. Not because they lacked ideas or insight, but because the confidence to bring those things forward, to let them actually influence the work of the team, had not yet caught up with their potential.
We worked consistently on strategies that would help them not only find that voice but trust it. Over time, their confidence grew in ways that were visible to everyone around them. They developed habits and approaches that allowed them to lead with genuine authority, contributing meaningfully to the broader work of their school.
That kind of shift is what this work is for.
Not just to help leaders manage their role more effectively, but to help them grow into the leader they already have the capacity to become.
Over 20 years supporting every level of education
My career has taken me from the classroom to school leadership to a system-level role, where I worked directly alongside leaders across a networks of schools.
That progression gave me something that is difficult to replicate from the outside: a real understanding of how leadership decisions are made, what pressures shape them, and where the gaps in support most often appear.
I work with individual school leaders and with the schools and organisations that support them.
Each engagement is built entirely around the specific leader, their context, and what they need most. There is no standard program and no generic framework applied regardless of circumstance.
